Course Outcomes:
Materials
Students will understand the behavior, properties, and science of plastic materials and use that knowledge to select appropriate materials for a given application or process.
Processes
Students will understand a variety of manufacturing processes for plastics and be able to select the appropriate process for a given task, and be able to trouble shoot such processes.
Design
Students will understand the design of plastic products and the equipment, tooling, and environment for their economical manufacture.
